Our partner temples
We partner with small, peaceful temples in the Himalayas of Uttarakhand and Himachal, many tucked away in villages that most pilgrims never visit. Our temples lists them region by region.
The temples we choose follow gentle, joyful traditions:
Shiva and Parvati — Mahadev temples and Uma–Maheshwar shrines
Vishnu and his forms, including the Badri temples
Ram and Sita, with Lakshman and Hanuman
Krishna and Radha
The gentle Himalayan Devis, together with Ganga, Ganesha, Lakshmi, Saraswati and Surya
Temples we never work with
We do not partner with any temple known for animal sacrifice (bali), whether today or within living memory, nor with shrines linked to fear, ghosts, curses, or tantric, cult or black-magic practices. Because we follow gentle, sattvic traditions, we do not perform rituals for fierce forms such as Kali, Bhairav or Shani, or any ritual marketed as “removing a dosh” or shielding you from harm.
How a temple is added
Someone from our team travels to the temple, meets its pujari, and learns about its customs and festivals. A temple is listed on Our temples only once we are confident it follows a positive tradition.
