Why a video or prasad from a Himalayan temple can be late, how we keep you informed, what happens if the stream drops, and why charawa stays at the temple.

We go to the temple on your behalf
Our team and camera crew travel to the temple and work alongside the priest who serves there. We set up a live stream at the altar so you can follow your puja or havan from home as it happens. The temples are listed on Our temples.
When the weather intervenes
Many of our temples are in the mountains of Uttarakhand and Himachal, where landslides, snowstorms and heavy rain are part of everyday life. They can bring the network down for hours, sometimes days.
If that happens during your puja, there is nothing to worry about. Our crew films the whole ritual on camera regardless. Once they are back at the studio, they upload your video and we send you a link to watch or download it.
Any delay is shared with you on WhatsApp and by email, so you are never left guessing.
Prasad may be late as well
The same weather can block mountain roads. Your prasad is packed and dispatched as soon as the road and the courier permit, so it may take longer than usual. Please bear rain, snow, landslides and other natural events in mind when you book.
We only send dry, sealed prasad — mishri, elaichi dana, dry fruits and the like — so a delay will not spoil it.
Charawa belongs to the deity
Whatever you offer at the altar — chadhava, vastra, coconut, flowers or dakshina — is placed before the deity during your puja and, as tradition holds, remains at the temple. Charawa is not sent back and cannot be refunded once the puja has been performed.
Why has my puja video not arrived?
Many of our temples sit high in the mountains, where landslides, snowstorms and heavy rain can knock the network out for days. Our crew still films the entire ritual and uploads the video once they are back at the studio. We let you know about the delay on WhatsApp and by email.
Why is my prasad taking longer?
Weather that cuts the network can also block mountain roads. Your prasad is packed and dispatched as soon as the road and the courier allow. Please allow for rain, snow, landslides and other natural events.
What happens if the live stream stops during my puja?
Hill networks can fail at the temple or at your end. Every ritual is filmed in full, so we send you a link to watch or download the complete video.
Can charawa be returned or refunded?
No. Charawa is offered to the deity during your puja and, by tradition, remains at the temple, so it is neither returned nor refunded.
